Unequal by Design: The Truth Behind the Lies We Were Taught to Believe
Unequal by Design, where we question the story, examine the system, and expose the design.
The foundation of Unequal by Design is Hosea 4:6:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee… seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
That scripture reminds us that lack of knowledge does not just affect one person. It can affect families, communities, systems, and generations.
On this podcast, we are not just having conversations. We are pulling back the curtain. We are looking at the patterns, policies, narratives, and labels that were built, protected, repeated, and called normal.
Some things were not accidental.
Some things were designed.
So, if you are ready to think more deeply, question more deeply, and see more clearly, you are in the right place.

🎙️ The Morris Perspective Podcast
Welcome to The Morris Perspective Podcast—where truth is uncovered, systems are examined, and the lies behind inequality are exposed. I’m your host, Connie Morris.
After more than 20 years as a police officer, I witnessed firsthand how outcomes were rarely accidental. Bias—both personal and systemic—showed up in predictable patterns, shaping lives, decisions, and communities long before individuals ever entered the system. Those experiences didn’t just open my eyes—they clarified my purpose.
Today, as the founder of Morris Bias Initiatives LLC, my work has evolved beyond managing bias to exposing the truth behind it. This podcast exists to challenge inherited narratives, disrupt comfort built on distortion, and examine how inequality is sustained by design, not by chance.
🔍 What The Morris Perspective Is About
At The Morris Perspective, we no longer ask people to simply reflect on bias.
We ask where it came from, who designed it, and why it still works.
Through the lens of Unequal by Design, this podcast examines how deliberate lies embedded in history, science, theology, and institutions have shaped unequal outcomes—and why truth, not behavior management, is the only real solution.
We distinguish clearly between:
-
God’s design, rooted in justice, truth, and shared humanity, and
-
Human systems, built on distortion, erasure, and power.
🧠 The MORRIS Framework
The values behind MORRIS now function as tools of exposure, not self-correction:
-
Mindfulness — recognizing when patterns are engineered, not incidental
-
Openness — allowing truth to challenge what we were taught to accept
-
Reflection — interrogating narratives, not just reactions
-
Respect — restoring humanity where systems stripped it away
-
Inclusivity — centering those historically pushed to the margins
-
Self-awareness — understanding our position within designed systems
🎯 What to Expect
Each episode goes beyond surface conversations. We confront:
-
How bias is taught and normalized
-
How systems reproduce inequality predictably
-
How truth disrupts what lies depend on
This podcast engages real evidence, real history, and real context—not trends or comfort language. Episodes are released intentionally, allowing space for depth, clarity, and accountability.
🔥 More Than a Podcast
This is not a motivational platform.
It is not a safe conversation.
It is a truth-centered examination of why inequality persists—and what happens when lies are finally exposed.
If inequality were part of God’s design, it would not require lies to sustain it.
